As part of the City of South Salt Lake’s small area plan for the 3300 South corridor, Io LandArch provided examples of urban infill design, and associated graphics to show how the placement and mass of new buildings, combined with urban streetscape enhancements could combine to create a vibrant urban setting. In these images, a mix of uses combined with street friendly buildings, enlarged sidewalks, bike lanes, and street tree plantings provide a human scale to an otherwise auto-oriented UDOT corridor.
