Dunion Development

Io collaborated on this master plan for a residential development near Solitude Ski Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon. We worked with Architect Steve Simmons, who created a modern building typology to fit the wooded hillside of the site. Io performed an initial site analysis, including a slope analysis that would ultimately drive the layout of the proposed development. Our master plan for the development of the site fits roads and buildings into the topography, while maximizing solar orientation of the buildings and views from the proposed homes.
