Considine Residence

This urban infill project in the Avenues District of Salt Lake City was designed by Steve Simmons Architects. Io worked with the architect to extend the design vision into the landscape with architectonic grade changes, steel retaining walls, and green walls. We utilized the small site and grade changes to create outdoor rooms. A lawn ramp plays off the strong angle of the roof of the building and provides a unique transition between spaces. Carpets of thyme and structural grasses further compliment the architecture of the home.
