Beaver Equestrian Center

In 2018, Beaver County, Utah had recently completed a process to re-brand the county as a destination for equestrian related activities. As part of this new focus, Beaver County identified the creation of a horse park as an important community amenity and economic development opportunity.

 

Io worked to evaluate and rank three potential sites for the facility. We met with the design team and an equestrian task force, composed of residents and rodeo professionals, to program the proposed facility. Io then completed a master plan for the selected site (Minersville Reservoir) that integrates three riding arenas, horse stalls, and an intricate circulation system. The Master Plan also includes RV Camping and a trails network. The county is currently working on obtaining funding to move into the next phase of project development.
