Io Principal is ISA Certified Arborist

certified arboristIo Principal Susan Crook has added ISA Certified Arborist® to her credentials as a licensed landscape architect.  She successfully completed the Certified Arborist examination administered through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and the ISA Utah Chapter / Utah Community Forest Council.

Crook won’t be climbing trees with a chainsaw, but she will be consulting on the health and maintenance of trees and shrubs, and on appropriate replacements for those lost during the record breaking cold last winter in Washington County, Utah.

The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) is a scientific and educational organization devoted to the dissemination of information in the care and preservation of shade and ornamental trees.  ISA’s certification program is designed to promote the professional development of those involved in the field of arboriculture or tree care.  When contracting for your tree care needs, contact individuals who are certified through this voluntary program.
